BLODWEN
As co-founder and creative director of on-line company Blodwen I designed and produced many products that were crafted by makers in Wales which have a utilitarian and functional use, rather than the traditional craft-only image associated with much of Wales' makers.
Earthenware thrown by Ewenny, the oldest working pottery in Wales, furniture built and spoons and bowls carved from Welsh forest woods, a rose scented apothecary range cultivated from locally grown roses, wool from welsh fleeces, carded and spun into blankets, yarn made into socks, scarves and cushions, jam and honey from the hedge-groves and country-side - all very proudly MADE IN WALES.
